Eyetech is building a state-of-the-art Research and Preclinical Development facility in Lexington, Massachusetts to accommodate its expanding Research & Development efforts. Eyetech is committed to promoting innovative science in a creative and dynamic environment. In addition to retaining staff scientists, Eyetech actively promotes training through MD and PhD fellowship programs.
We seek to employ a Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Animal Facility.
Summary
- Supervise and train the ACP staff, and assist if needed in animal husbandry;
- Plan and coordinate daily room assignments;
- Monitor compliance with animal care standard operating procedures;
- Assist the veterinary and research staff with technical procedures
(injections and sample collection);
- Maintain and monitor operation of equipment;
- Monitor receipt of animals, housing, and entry of animal census
data and record keeping, perform inventory of supplies;
- Plan, develop, and complete Breeding-colony projects;
- Coordinate collection and submission of monthly sentinel program

- Experienced supervisor.
