Building a top performing marketing team starts with hiring a marketing team with strong marketing background. The marketing team leader will develop and implement the Macugen Launch Plan with his/her team and this position will report to the team leader. Candidate will be responsible for certain aspects of the launch plan such as professional promotion, managed care, medical education and CME activities, patient advocacy groups, and the like. The assignment of specific function will depend on the particular set of capabilities of the individual.

Qualifications

• Outstanding strategic, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to identify key business drivers through analytical rigor, and develop relevant strategies with a keen focus on outstanding implementation.
• Proven track record of sustained performance.
• Work in a team-based and dynamic environment with other functions such as sales and marketing research.
• Previous co-promote, product launch and/or ophthalmology experiences are preferred.
• Ability to take initiatives and communicate articulately and openly.
