A specialty, senior sales position, focused primarily on Retina Specialists and Ophthalmologists.
Summary
- Expert knowledge of our indicated disease states
- Highly involved with clinical application of the product(s)
- Involved with all aspects of treatment/application, including understanding and delivering clinical information, ability to provide guidance for product access, handling reimbursement challenges, and physician, paramedical and patient education
- Accountable for reaching and exceeding sales goals in a specified territory through disciplined execution of our plan
- Responsible for all administrative duties (ex: accurate and timely reporting; territory management; etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Minimum of two years as a successful specialty representative.

Targeted specialties for experience include:
- Ophthalmology
- Oncology
- Rheumatology
- CNS/Neurology
- Cardiovascular Diseases
- Diabetes/Endocrinology
- Nephrology
- Dermatology
- Surgical appliances or applications (ex: joint replacements, cardiac catheterization)
- Documented consistent, successful sales record
- Strong business, territory and account management skills
- Strong science-based clinical aptitude
- Excellent communications skills
- Track record in working with cross-functional teams and mobilizing company resources
- Desirable: experience with physician purchased specialty products, hospital selling, and managed care
