Director/Senior Director, Drug Product Manufacturing (FullTime)

In preparation for product launch, expertise needed for supervising the day-to-day manufacturing and fill campaigns of the company’s third party manufacturers.

Summary

• The ideal candidate will have 10 or more years experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology/Biopharmaceutical industries, with a clear record of management and organizational leadership within energized, growth-oriented environments.
• Background in the area of building bulk manufacturing and fill-and-finish manufacturing teams is strongly preferred.
• This individial will be expected to be on-site during manufacturing campaigns, therefore a high degree of personal flexibility will be required of candidates.
• Candidates must be energetic, positive, mature and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with nucleic acid-based drugs and peptides preferred ; experience in the area of small molecule synthesis will also be considered.
• Candidates should have experience moving from clinical scale to commercial scale drug manufacturing.
• In addition, candidates should have experience working with third party manufacturers and qualifying commercial drug plants for FDA inspection.
• We require excellent communication skills and demonstrated skills in the areas of leadership and team building.
