Ophthalmologist, Associate Director/Director/Senior Director – Medical Affairs (FullTime) Apply for this Job

Increasing Medical Marketing activities related to:

  • Medical Support of Macugen Launch and Commercialization
  • Medical Support for Retinal Specialists, including Key Opinion Leaders
  • Expanding DME program
  • Initiation of Phase 3b/4 AMD program

Summary

  • Work with Medical Science Liasons and Key Opinion
  • Leaders to promote understanding of AMD and DME, to promote best practices with regard to intravitreous injection, and to insure complete and accurate understanding of Macugen clinical data
  • Assist in the design and conduct clinical trials
  • Assist in the writing of clinical protocols
  • Provide Medical input to Drug Safety and Surveillance Team
  • Provide Medical input to Discovery and Pre-Clinical Team
  • Provide Medical input to Commercial Team

Qualifications

  • MD ophthalmologist. Retina experience strongly preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical and/or clinical trials experience a strong plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous and self motivated
