Medical Writer (FullTime)

Eyetech has an immediate opening for a seasoned Medical Writer to research, write, and edit clinical study reports, integrated summaries, investigator brochures, annual reports, safety updates, and protocols. Reviewing and writing manuscripts, publications, abstracts and research proposals, as vehicles toward the development of guidelines for clinical documentation, are essential to the position. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing and providing appropriate feedback on documents prepared by independent consultants, contract research organizations, and internal personnel. Position is responsible for the submission of clinical documents to domestic and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in life sciences.
• 3-5 years experience in pharmaceutical industry writing and preparing clinical documents for submission to domestic and regulatory authorities.
• Must have detailed knowledge of ICH guidelines and registration requirements.
• Strong writing and analytical skills required.
• A demonstrated ability to interpret and present complex data clearly.
• Experience in ophthalmology helpful.
• Excellent organizational skills required.
