Eyetech is building a state-of-the-art Research and Preclinical Development facility in Lexington, Massachusetts to accommodate its expanding Research & Development efforts. Eyetech is committed to promoting innovative science in a creative and dynamic environment. In addition to retaining staff scientists, Eyetech actively promotes training through MD and PhD fellowship programs.

Summary

• We seek to employ a Ph D or equivalent tumor biologist with considerable experience in animal xenograft models, tissue culture, cell biology and histology.
• This position will involve coordination and execution of proof of concept experiments to validate the use of Macugen relevant to cancer.
• Candidate will have to work closely with external collaborators and chemists in the drug delivery department.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be a proactive, resourceful and independent experimentalist with good knowledge of the angiogenesis and cancer biology field. To ensure a productive collaboration, successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills to enable smooth coordination of experiments across various sites and with several teams.
