Project Manager (FullTime)

Provides strategic leadership and day-to-day management to the multifunctional Project team. Acts as the interface between Clinical, Regulatory, Preclinical, Technical, Business, and Research in the development, execution, and management of the high level operational Project Plans and Budgets for global costs and human resource requirements. Effectively collaborates with others in the development of these plans/budgets. Manages the project in accordance with the development strategy. Develops innovative solutions to problems. Challenges team members, and interfaces with management, to ensure that issues are addressed and that all emerging opportunities are fully realized. Manages external contacts.

Qualifications

• An advanced scientific or business degree (M/Science or MBA) or equivalent experience that enables full participation in and optimal contribution to the project team.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry, at least one of which was in a project management role.
• Strong working knowledge of project management and budget management practices.
• A record of successful team leadership with technical and/or scientific professionals.
• Experience in planning techniques highly desirable.
• Demonstrated management capability in consensus building and conflict management.
