Eyetech is building a state-of-the-art Research and Preclinical Development facility in Lexington, Massachusetts to accommodate its expanding Research & Development efforts. Eyetech is committed to promoting innovative science in a creative and dynamic environment. In addition to retaining staff scientists, Eyetech actively promotes training through MD and PhD fellowship programs.

The successful candidate will be a resourceful and independent experimentalist with good knowledge of discovery biology.

Summary

To ensure a productive collaboration, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills to enable smooth coordination of experiments across various sites and with several teams. This position will run projects independently to study PDGF biology in normal vascular development, various vascular disease models and in vitro culture models.

Qualifications

  • Have the ability to collaboratively troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Have the ability to multi-task
  • The successful candidate with possess a PhD with 0-2 years’ post-doctoral experience, or a non-PhD with equivalent experience, and will have a background in cellular and molecular biology, immunostaining, and microscopy techniques
