Summary

• Responsibility for the planning and procurement of Eyetech critical raw materials, supplier and inventory management of same.
• Interface with contract manufacturer of API, inventory management of API, and shipment of API to Gilead.
• Acquire forecasts for clinical, commercial and all other inventory consuming events. Ensure forecasts are timely, accurate and well communicated in the organization.
• Establish prudent safety stock levels and economic ordering quantities.
• Create, monitor and update Bills of Material.
• Translate forecasts and safety stock levels to Materials Requirement Plan (MRP).
• Create purchase requisitions and monitor through approval process.
• Place purchase orders with suppliers.
• Monitor and expedite delivery process to ensure availability for production schedule.
• Monitor and expedite raw material release process to ensure availability for production schedule.
• Inventory oversight of API.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve as necessary.
• Create production planning options for management and financial review as necessary.
• Coordinate validation of API shipment from point of manufacture.
• Planning/ordering/inventory management for critical raw materials
• Planning/coordinating API manuacture and lot release
• Management of Shipping/Receiving and Warehousing functions
• Measurement of supply chain KPI's

Qualifications

• BS Degree 5-7 years of pharmaceutical experience in operations, planning, logistics or warehousing
• CPIM certification preferred
