Senior Manager, External Reporting (FullTime)

Summary

• Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual SEC reporting. Primary responsibilities also include preparation of supporting schedules, accounting standard research and preparation of footnotes in compliance with US GAAP. Provide support to ensure timely completion of required reviews and audits by external auditors.
• Assist in analysis of significant g/l accounts, as needed. Produce reports from accounting software utilizing standard reports and development of reports from database analysis software (F9 or FRX). Provide support as needed to assist in selection and implementation of accounting and reporting software going forward.
• Assist in implementation of Equity Edge as the primary tool for valuing and reporting on the Company’s equity compensation plans in compliance with proposed Financial Accounting Standards.
• Assist with Equity Compensation Plan administrative tasks.
• Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley internal control compliance work and preparation of documents to support internal control requirements.
• Assist with development of Treasury accounting database and provide ongoing accounting analysis, investment policy compliance, liquidity planning and management support.
• Special projects as determined by management.

Qualifications

• CPA or MBA is preferred with a minimum requirement of an undergraduate accounting/finance degree and relevant experience.
• 3 – 5 years progressive accounting experience with SEC registrants.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills. Accounting research and documentation skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced spreadsheet application skills and experience working with databases, i.e. pivot tables, ranges and add-in functions.
• Experience with ACCPAC or other SQL based accounting/ERP software.
• Experience with F9, FRX or similar bolt-on software.
