Regional Reimbursement Manager, Managed Markets (Field-based) (FullTime) Apply for this Job

A key account and customer management position, directly accountable for securing payment and formulary acceptance status with all key carriers and providers in assigned coverage area.

Summary

  • Secure acceptable payment and formulary status with key carriers and providers
  • Communicate carrier/provider policies and procedures to Sales team, in writing and verbally
  • Work closely with Sales team to ensure provider policies and procedures are followed, and to assist Sales team wherever customer interaction is needed and appropriate
  • Ensure the distribution of accurate and approved information concerning Eyetech Pharmaceuticals products to targeted members of the medical / health care community and to Eyetech Pharmaceuticals sales personnel
  • Train Eyetech Sales personnel on policy changes, CMS updates, etc., as necessary
  • Review and evaluate sales data relative to key providers, and provide regional analyses of each assigned provider
  • Promote good customer business relationships and establish confidence in our Company
  • Manage regional expenses within limits
  • Responsible for all administrative responsibilities (ex: regional summaries; expense reporting and tracking; representative, customer and home office communications; etc.) as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum of three-five years as a successful managed care / key account manager, involving reimbursement in all CMS areas (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). Experience desired in the following fields:
    • Ophthalmology
    • Oncology
    • CNS/Neurology
    • Cardiovascular Diseases
    • Diabetes/Endocrinology
    • Nephrology
    • Surgical appliances or applications (ex: joint replacements, cardiac catheterization)
    • Injectable &/or infusion technologies (i.e., Remicaide, etc.)
  • Documented consistent, successful sales and account management record
  • Strong business, analytical, administrative, and personnel management skills
  • Strong clinical aptitude
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent team player skills
  • Superb integrity
